Rogier Mul is a seasoned sustainability professional with a background in the solar energy sector, sustainability consulting, and impact investing. He currently spearheads relationship management and business development at Intire, a boutique consultancy firm that aids listed companies, large family-owned enterprises, and private equity (PE) in implementing sustainability reporting, integrated reporting, and non-financial reporting (e.g., CSRD, EU Taxonomy, ESG). Additionally, Rogier is currently an MBA candidate at Nyenrode Business University, where he is part of the EMBA Cohort 21 (2023-2025).
Maija Pohjakallio joined Metsä Group as VP, Climate and Circular Economy in August 2021. She is excited about promoting wellbeing of people and planet by combining science and business with sustainable development and circular economy. Prior to Metsä Group Maija has worked in the field of circular economy at Sulapac Ltd., VTT, Technical Research Centre of Finland and Chemical Industry Federation of Finland. She holds a doctoral degree in physical chemistry and electrochemistry from Helsinki University of Technology (currently Aalto University)
Henning Bloech is the Director Sustainability and ESG Reporting for Mitsubishi Chemical Group (MCG) in Europe. He is responsible for MCG’s ESG reporting efforts, compliance with ESG transparency regulations, and translation of ESG requirements into strategy. Previously, he was the Global Director Sustainable Solutions for Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials (MCAM, and responsible for MCAM’s global sustainability strategy, its implementation, as well as providing sustainable solutions to MCAM customers.
Henning has dedicated his career to moving organizations to more sustainable business models and healthier products. He has run certification programs, led corporate sustainability strategy, and advised companies on addressing sustainability and environmental challenges.
Prior to his current role, Henning held various leadership positions in sustainability and environmental performance including Executive Director Europe for SCS Global Services, Commercial Director Europe and Asia for Underwriters Laboratories, Global Sustainability Director for INVISTA, and Executive Director of the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI).
Henning is a LEED Accredited Professional and an Alliance for Water Stewardship Accredited Specialist. He was a member of the WELL® Materials Advisory, a founding member of the Green Products Roundtable (now Sustainable Purchasing Leadership Council), a member of the TFM Green Buildings Advisory Board, and of the Outdoor Industry Associations Sustainability Working Group. He currently lives in Göttingen, Germany with his family.
Bran is passionate about helping our portfolio companies utilise ESG, to unlock value for society and shareholders, and demonstrating their positive impact, using a measurable and transparent approach.
Bran heads the Group’s approach to ESG, having previously worked as a management consultant focussing on sustainability and ESG, first at KPMG’s Wealth and Asset Management practice, and then at the asset management research division of Cutter Associates (part of Nomura Research Institute) where he was the ESG lead. As a consultant he led and advised on ESG integration, decarbonisation strategies, ESG reporting, regulations and data, for various asset managers, asset owners and private markets clients. Bran has worked in financial services for more than 15 years across the buy and sell side including at Credit Suisse, ABRDN and Aegon Asset Management in various operational and strategy roles. Bran holds a Global Executive MBA from IE Business School in Madrid and an MSc in Technology Management from Manchester Business School.
Originally from Sri Lanka, and fluent in Tamil, Bran started his career in a technology start-up.
Christine Wortmann is Greening Finance Netherlands Lead at WWF Netherlands. As part of the Green Finance team, her focus is the integration of nature-related risks and opportunities into financial decision-making, regulation and supervision in the Netherlands. With a background in environmental law, she has extensive experience in sustainability strategy development and impact reporting on climate and nature.
Dr. Dimitrij Euler, in his capacity as the Head of Financial Markets and a sustainability expert, has proficiently implemented strategies and programs aimed at conserving impact measurement and valuation in various projects. Over the course of his tenure in the financial sector, he has showcased adeptness in assessing the impact and value of various projects, assets, and portfolios, considering both economic and legal dimensions. In his academic pursuits, he has focused on stakeholder engagement and transparency in international investment disputes. His competencies are displayed in his current leadership position at the Value Balancing Alliance, where he leads efforts to integrate impact considerations into financial practices

Demonstrated track record of leading international collaboration across multiple sectors and businesses to promote wide-spread cooperation on sustainability initiatives. Charlotte Waldraff is an advisor on sustainable finance in GIZ’s Sustainable Economic Transformation and Sustainable Finance Global Project. She focuses on policy and regulatory development and on nature finance, especially channeling capital into nature-based solutions. Previously, Charlotte advised the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) on sustainable finance. Prior to joining GIZ in 2020, she worked at BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking in London, where she built relationships with institutional investors in the UK, Ireland, and France. Charlotte holds a Master’s degree in European History and Politics from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Cambridge University.
Heather Buchanan is the Chief Executive Officer of Bankers for Net Zero, an initiative that brings together banks, businesses and regulators to support the financial sectors transition to net zero in the UK. She has extensive experience advising Government, trade bodies and civil society on the commercial relationship between banks and their customers. In 2021, Bankers for Net Zero was announced as the UK Country Chapter of the UN Convened Net Zero Banking Alliance, the first initiative of its kind in the world, to provide the bridge between the high level commitments that banks have made and implementation on the ground.
Sofia has been a dedicated player in the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) sphere for over half a decade. She combines a deep understanding of climate change with project experiences, all underpinned by a master's degree in Ecology, bringing broad technical and strategic knowledge to her role at TES. As ESG Manager, she is integrally involved with all aspects of reporting, developing a roadmap towards a Net Zero future, refining sustainability guidelines, and ensuring TES's operations adhere to best practices in environmental stewardship and social responsibility. She perceives e-waste management at TES not merely as a process of safe disposal, but as a strategic resource for sustainable growth, underscoring the company's commitment to a circular economy and better planetary health
Catalina Hemmink is a Sustainability Reporting Specialist at ABN AMRO Bank since 2019. There, she has been responsible for conducting the materiality analysis in the past and has recently performed the first ESRS double materiality analysis for the bank. In the past years she has worked on integrating sustainability further into the corporate strategy. More recently, she has worked together with finance to take the first steps in producing a CSRD compliant annual report. She has previously worked for four years as a sustainability advisor and assurance professional and holds a Master’s degree in Business Studies from the University of Amsterdam.
Stephan Kippe, CFA, Director, Head of ESG Research Commerzbank AG. Stephan started as an analyst at WestLB in 2004 before joining Commerzbank in 2007. During his career he has covered a wide range of asset classes, including equities, corporate bonds, and multi-asset strategies. Since 2021 he has focused on ESG from a market perspective. He believes that a timely transition towards sustainability requires pragmatism and a focus on the core mission.
Adrienn Horvath is the ESG Controlling Director for DHL Supply Chain. Her main responsibility is leading the process to integrate sustainability measurements into management review processes to enhance decision making and driving the related change process. 22 years of cross-functional DHL experience enables to make accurate assessments of the strategic challenges and yet also has a great eye for detail.
She is part of A4S (Accounting for Sustainability) Controllers Forum aiming to transform finance to make sustainable business, business as usual.

Yaroslav Sovgyra is a Head of ESG Risk at Lloyds Banking Group (LBG), responsible for embedding holistic ESG risk management into the Group’s credit process and oversight of a complex range of ESG activities across LBG’s Credit function. Before joining LBG, Yaroslav was Associate Managing Director at Moody’s, where he managed a team of senior credit rating analysts covering financial institutions in EMEA. He also had various ESG-related responsibilities, included implementation of ESG rating methodologies and development of Net Zero and Sustainability-focused scoring tools and products. Before Moody’s, Yaroslav worked in Global Corporate Reporting Group of PwC, where he advised the largest EU banks on valuation of financial instruments and derivatives, hedging strategies and M&A transactions. Yarolav has Master degree in Finance from Kyiv National Economic University, is a CFA Charterholder (including CFA ESG Investing and CFA Climate Investing Certificates) and a US CPA
Anna-Sophia Elm is an advisor for risk finance & insurance at GIZ. She advises the German ministry BMZ on climate and disaster risk finance & insurance (CDRFI), works on climate risk assessments in Thailand and Egypt and leads a GIZ-internal business development project on Finance and Insurance for Nature-based Solutions. Previously, she supported a public private partnership between GIZ and Allianz on climate risk management in Ghana and Morocco. Anna-Sophia studied economics in Germany, China and Japan and gained experiences at UNEP, KfW and zeb.
Maurice Loosschilder is the Global Head of Sustainability at Signify. Striving for a more sustainable future by making a difference and driving change, he leads the global sustainability team and function. Maurice is responsible for the creation and execution of Signify’s ‘Brighter Lives, Better World’ programs, which are leading sustainability programs with ambitious commitments to improve Signify’s positive impact on the environment and society. With more than 22 years of experience in the lighting industry, he worked for Philips and Signify. Prior to his current role, Maurice held the position of Head of Sustainability Strategy and Reporting. Before that, as Director Collection and Recycling, he was an international board member in the Supervisory Boards of four E-waste collection and recycling organizations across Europe. Before Maurice transitioned into the sustainability department, he held several roles in pricing and started his career in IT program management. Maurice graduated Cum Laude from the Technical University of Eindhoven and holds a MSc degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Science and a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering. In 2019, he completed the Executive Leadership and Transformation Program at Harvard Business School Executive Education and in 2023 he completed the Board Certificate training for supervisory board members at Board Company
Mr. Duijnhouwer is the Head, Green Financial Systems, Southern and Eastern Mediterranean with the Climate Strategy and Delivery team of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Within the team, he leads on the engagement with financial institutions, financial regulators and other stakeholders to develop and implement green financial products and policy reform. He has over fifteen years of experience in developing green financial products and implementing policy reform engagements.
Before joining the EBRD, he worked for a business consulting firm in Moscow where he was involved in a number of energy efficiency projects in buildings and municipal infrastructure.
Mr. Duijnhouwer holds a Master’s degree in Modern History (with honours) from the University of Leiden, the Netherlands and a Master’s Degree in International Political Economy (with honours) from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom. He also passed the Chartered Financial Analyst Level 1 exam
Siloshini Naidoo is an Environmental Specialist and has 17 years’ experience in the environmental risk management field. She has her under and post graduate qualifications in the Environmental Sciences field. She has worked across the mining, renewable energy, infrastructure sectors in her engineering consulting career and headed up the Environmental and Social Risk division within Nedbanks Corporate Investment Banking arm for nearly ten years. She provided technical and strategic expertise on a diverse range of projects/ investments within the environmental management, sustainable investment/ lending space, including Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) due diligence, Equator Principle and IFC advisory and review. She also through her position at Nedbank and now at DBSA manages key relationships with other DFI’s such as the DEG, IFC , AFD through its credit line E&S obligations. Whilst she is not a climate specialist , she has exposure to the complexity of embedding and operationalizing carbon accounting methodologies and other related reporting requirements against credit and other systems within a bank. She is also exposed to the complexities around embedding and managing ESG related indices on sustainable finance debt instruments. She was appointed at DBSA in January 2023 to head up the ESG department.
Livvy Drake is a Sustainability and Behaviour Change Consultant using the tools and insights from behavioural science to support climate and nature action. She provides consultancy, research and training support so environmental and climate practitioners can be more impactful in engaging their stakeholders in action, to meet their targets.
Dr. Muhammad Wakil Shahzad is an Associate Professor in the Mechanical and Construction Engineering Department, Northumbria University (NU), Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom. He also worked as a Research Scientist in the Water Desalination and Reuse Center of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology from 2014-2019 before joining NU, UK.
He is an expert in renewable energy and its integration for water treatment, hybrid desalination technologies, and processes optimization. He has won many international awards, including the The Institution of Engineering and Technology (UK) Ecellence and Innovation Award 2023, National Energy Globe Award Saudi Arabia 2021, MEED Sustainability Medal 2020, Global Innovation Award 2020, National Energy Globe Award Saudi Arabia 2020 and 2019, Excellence and Leadership Award 2019, and IDA Environmental & Sustainability Award 2019. His research has been highlighted at The National News (UAE), Yahoo Business, Nature Middle East, Arab News, Saudi Gazette, and many other international platforms.
He is an Innovate UK Entrepreneur Lead and a founder and CEO of EcoTechX Limited, A spinout from Northumbria University to commercilise Solar2Water systems and ditigal optimization of processes.
He holds 11 international patents. To date, he has published 4 books, 22 book chapters, 100+ peer-reviewed journal papers, and more than 110 conference papers. He also received three best paper awards in international conferences. He is an editor of many international journals, STEM ambassador, Chartered Engineer, mentor for International Desalination Association’s Young Leader Program (IDA-YLP) and a consultant for UNESCO safe water project. As a climate solutions expert at Zurich Resilience Solutions (ZRS), Matthias advises customers on identifying and reducing their physical climate risks. Matthias is based in Germany, but the customers are international. Based on Zurich's own climate change models, Matthias identifies and quantifies customers' physical climate risks at portfolio level and develops practicable solutions with them at site level to strengthen the customers climate resilience. Before joining ZRS, Matthias worked for several years as a consultant, planner and construction supervisor for flood protection measures for industrial customers. Anouk is Cushman & Wakefield’s Head of Sustainability & ESG for the Netherlands as well as the company's EMEA lead for climate risk. She works with real estate investors and occupiers to make their real estate portfolios more sustainable. In her work with clients, Anouk develops ESG strategies and reports on the sustainability performance of buildings and portfolios against different frameworks. She supports clients in complying and preparing for the sustainable finance legislation and regulation in Europe. An engineer at heart, Anouk has more than five years of both in-depth technical and strategic experience in supporting clients with improving the sustainability of their real estate.
Steven Wade BA (Hons) MSc PhD FRGS has 30 years’ experience in climate risk assessment and adaptation. He provides advice on infrastructure and climate resilience in the water, energy and transport sectors globally, with experience of working in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia in over 20 countries for national governments and Multi-lateral Development Banks. He is the technical lead for Weather and Climate Services at AtkinsRéalis UK, provides Climate Assurance on High Speed 2 (HS2) the UK’s largest transport project and has been an Independent Environment Advisor to Severn Trent Water, one of the UK’s largest water companies. He is a Global Atkins Fellow for Applied Climate Science and an empanelled advisor on the Asian Development Bank’s Water and Climate Change Panels. He was formerly Head of Scientific Consultancy at the UK Met Office and Head of Water Resources at HR Wallingford
Tomas Zaborowski is Global Head of Sustainability Excellence at Bayer Crop Science. With a career spanning from consumer goods to agriculture in Latin America where he is originally from, Tomas is a passionate advocate for sustainability and the role of businesses in delivering on this. He firmly believes in the importance of agriculture and its role in overcoming societal challenges like food security, biodiversity, climate change and alleviating hunger and malnutrition. Tomas has worked for over ten years in agriculture and is currently based in Germany.

Fabius Lenhart has been the Chief Operating Officer of Climcycle since 2024. Together with our CEO Philipp Gruber, he founded Climcycle 3 years ago and has been Head of Development & Advisory from the very beginning, responsible for driving the further development of our software and ensuring the support and satisfaction of our customers. Before committing to ESG related quantification and disclosure, he was part of the risk management team at KPMG Austria for 7+ years. Prior to that, he worked in financial market supervision, where he was already dealing with EU regulations, and he completed his master's degree in Economics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
Marion Rouzeaud is an accomplished sustainability leader with over a decade of experience at Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, a division of Hexagon AB, a global pioneer in digital reality solutions. Hexagon's Manufacturing Intelligence division harnesses sensor, software, and autonomous technologies to optimize manufacturing processes by leveraging data from design, engineering, production, and metrology.
